Cornelia Quick Industries Limited: the 2025 Annual Report
Some new directions and some old friends
It was a busy year here at Cornelia Quick World Headquarters, with 14 titles written and released (15 if we count The Fox Run Swingers’ Freeuse Fling, arriving just a few days into the new year on January 6). It was a year of trying out some new things, as well as revisiting some favorite characters’ stories.
In the new directions category, I explored writing my first two romance books, Matador and The Heart’s Hunger. If you’ve read these books, you’ll know they’re just as hot (well, at least almost as hot) as my usual erotica, but a little different: there’s more plot for one thing, and also more feels. (“Matador” is especially angsty, I think). They’re also a bit longer, with “Matador” about 170 pages and “The Heart’s Hunger” about 220. They’ve also been among my best sellers for 2025, which gives me some optimism for new projects I’m planning for 2026.
But of course, I couldn’t leave my old favorites alone, either. Dorothy got three new releases: Dorothy’s Velvet Devil, a prequel that gives you a look at how she ended up in Milhawket; Dorothy’s Filthy Fourth, a firecracker of a tale; and Candy Caters the Fireworks Cruise, a story focusing on one of Dorothy’s Milhawket friends. All of Dorothy’s Farmhouse Flings sold well in 2025, so I’ll be dreaming up more adventures for everyone’s favorite bad farm wife.
And speaking of wayward wives …
My December writing project was The Fox Run Swingers’ Freeuse Fling, the long-awaited sequel to The Betwixtmas Switch. I’ve actually had drafts of this book’s chapters floating around for about a year, waiting for me to figure out the overall story arc. And then one day in November, the character of Trish, a woman from Gabbie and Ron’s past, revealed herself, and the rest of the book practically wrote itself. It was fun to revisit the Fox Run gang; I hope you enjoy spending time with them, too, and check out all four of their adventures!
My other big new foray, besides my romance books, was the Insatiable Ingrid series. This story grew out of a scene in Night Nurse that felt like it deserved a more thorough treatment: five novelettes seems pretty thorough, if you ask me, and I strongly encourage you to check out these sexy, funny stories! Indeed, now is a great time to check them out, because they’re just 99 cents each until January 5.
And then there was the collaboration: I was invited to contribute a book to the Temptations in the Snow series, featuring some of my absolute idols in the erotica and erotic romance world. My story, Warmed at the Lodge, is a spicy little MMF why-choose story. And I’ve got plans for a sequel (or maybe two) in a few months: the rule was to come in around 15,000 words, and these three characters deserve at least three times that to tell their full story!
Tomorrow I’ll put out a list of the year’s best selling titles, after the numbers have settled into place; I’m expecting to see Matador and The Heart’s Hunger high on the list, along with perennial favorites like The Betwixtmas Switch and Mapping the Boundaries of Love.
And what will 2026 bring? Well, I’ll have some news about that soon as well, so watch this space for some new directions, and new names, in the Corneliaverse!
