It was supposed to be a girls' weekend getaway at the casino for Petra, Madeline, and Casey — a chance to have some fun and blow off some steam before Petra's upcoming marriage to Phil. With Phil off on a solo camping trip, Petra was looking forward to hanging out with her best friends and forgetting about wedding planning for a few days.
But when they discover that their weekend coincides with a swingers' convention at the casino hotel, the three friends are thrown into a world of excess and passion they never dreamed possible. While Petra is falling under the spell of the mysterious Martin and his engmatic wife Cynthia, Madeline discovers that she has fantasies and desires more extreme than she ever imagined possible. Being a "unicorn" for her new friends Kelsey and Pete isn't enough — she needs to be at the center of the passion.

“Off the Leash” tells the story from Petra’s point of view, focusing on her obsession with Martin and Cynthia, the enigmatic couple at the enter of the SExC (“Swingers Explorers’ Club”) organization. (Petra is a little dramatic and maybe a bit of a prude at heart …) “Madeline’s Awakening” tells the story from Madeline’s point of view: Madeline is wild and impulsive, given to taking things to excess, and when offered a truly excessive pleasure (if you’ve kept up with my stories, you can probably guess at what that will be …), she throws herself into a vortex of desire.
Watch for “Casey’s Story,” which will reveal some surprising facts about Casey’s past that have quite a lot of bearing on the weekend’s events, and will set up a shocking conclusion to the cycle that started with “A Dip in the Lake.”
