Two weddings and five gangbangs
Like May Fellowbrook, Lacey Cross is a writer I discovered on the All the Filthy Details podcast, talking about her writing career to date, her plans for the future, and her “Freeuse Wedding Party” series. Her approach to erotica sounded delightful — “I just want everyone to have fun” is the main takeaway of her philosophy — that I had to check out this series. It’s a romp, and it’s well worth the read. If there were a Venn diagram of freeuse, hotwife, and gangbang erotica, this collection would sit at the white hot, pulsing center of it.
The Freeuse Wedding Party series revolves around a group of friends, a bachelorette cabin getaway, and two weddings that are taking place on the same weekend. The incident that kicks off all of the sexy, slutty, gangbang-y adventures happens when bridesmaid Nadia gets locked out of the cabin where the bride and bridesmaids are staying, and goes to the cabin nextdoor in a state of undress. The cabin contains a group of sexy men who mistake her for a stripper. Since Nadia and her husband Jonas have been experimenting with “hotwife” play, she declares herself their “freeuse slut” and proceeds to fuck them all; she’s not entirely sure how many guys she takes on, but she’s sure it’s a bunch, and when she gets home to Jonas they have passionate sex while she recounts the exploit.
The story of Nadia’s adventure spreads through the group, and soon they’re all experimenting with variations on freeuse, hotwife, and gangbangs. The bride gets to fuck the groomsmen, one of the bridesmaids gets a fantasy version of the wedding night she never had with her husband’s basketball team, another bridesmaid’s husband arranges a gangbang with friends and neighbors, and a third bridesmaid bangs the band in their van. The action is filthy and fun, with the husbands not only arranging the sexy times but actively participating. True to her philosophy, Lacey makes sure that everyone has fun — lots and lots of fun.
The emotional context of the gangbangs is important. All but the first one are presented as gifts that the husbands are presenting their wives, and throughout the action the wives are checking in with their husbands to make sure they’re enjoying the show and ready to step in when it’s their turn. In the podcast interview, Lacey states that she doesn’t write cuckold fantasies because she wants her husbands to be happy; and these are some incredibly happy, and generous, husbands indeed.
From the eroticist’s perspective, these are well-written stories and have clearly benefited from good editing. The characters are interesting and the dialogue is believable (once you get past the hurdle of accepting a group of friends cheerfully discussing their wildest sexual fantasies with each other — suspension of disbelief gets you pretty far in erotica). The sex is described well, with enough detail that you can definitely imagine every important moment but not so much that the reader is overwhelmed with clinical detail. Lacey does have a few catchphrases that pop up frequently (when the men ejaculate inside the women, they’re often “painting my cave walls”), but they’re more charming than jarring.
You can certainly enjoy the stories as stand-alone pieces, but taken as a whole they have a narrative arc and some consistent themes that make for more than just descriptions of dirty scenarios. If you like your gangbangs served with a side of hotwife and with men who are attentive and focused on the woman’s pleasure, then “Freeuse Wedding Party” is definitely a series for you.
Also, if you’re not following Lacey Cross on Medium, fix that now. She puts out great little stories — she’s the mistress of the hotwife genre, but dabbles in lots of sexy stuff — that you definitely need in your life.
